More About the Application
Frameline 47 is designed to ‘chop up’ video files into segments, and for those segments to be described with words & content tags, enabling instant access, publishing and re-purposing to be performed at the click of a button and in any given form. Frameline generates both MPEG-7 compliant XML metadata, media and creates special ‘self-describing’ .mp4 container files called MPEG-47, an industry first. Once described, files can be indexed by search engines, read by media players or processed by databases as part of a media asset management solution.
Frameline's notation interface provides a carefully tailored set of fields & values that expand on the basic 'who, what, where, when' content notation concept to provide a powerful yet straightforward video notation system. The notation interface also provides a mechanism for creating advanced content navigation. By using the application’s XML export, this content navigation feature can be extended to create all manner of dynamic third party applications.
System Requirements: Frameline 47 is available exclusively for Mac OSX. The application requires OSX 10.4 ‘Tiger’ or above.
Pricing: Frameline 47 is available for $299.
