Outlaw Sound moves into its twentythird year of providing post production audio services
Outlaw Sound, located in the heart of Hollywood, California, moves into its twentythird year of providing post production audio services for the film, television, radio and music industries.
Founded in 1984 by Allen Roth, the company has continued to grow its customer base nationally and internationally. Outlaw Sound's ISDN services have accounted for increased international business with recent audio connections to various UK locations including the BBC, Australia, Japan, Germany, South Africa, Spain and Canada among others. Dialog replacement for features and commercials via ISDN connection between international studios and Outlaw Sound allow Los Angeles based talent an option to international travel.
To compliment Outlaw Sound's efforts, many post production studios in this country and abroad are direct clients. Advertising agencies account for a major portion of the Outlaw Sound client list.
In September 2006 Outlaw Sound appointed Frank Harrison as Operations Manager and Senior Engineer. Most recently with the American Film Institute (AFI), Harrison brings a broad range of skills to his position. The industry knowledge he has attained in film & television production, radio, music production and live sound allows Outlaw Sound to focus on additional creative & audio services and cutting edge technology.
Most recently we were pleased to connect between Madrid, Spain and complete ADR on a L'Oreal commercial with Oscar nominee Penelope Cruz. Emmy winner Doris Roberts (Everyone Loves Raymond) was also in to record VO for Palmolive's Scrub Buster microsite. Other memorable moments can be found on the Outlaw Sound website.
To kick off 2007 Outlaw Sound has launched a totally redesigned web site which includes a password protected client FTP access point, basic studio information, numerous links, and a memories page all in an easy to use format.
